Lidiya Hadzhieva - Operations Manager

How did your career in 60K begin?

I started out as an agent in a team of 8 almost 6 years ago. This was also my first serious job.

When did you get your first promotion?

9 months after I started. At the time I thought this was going to be a temporary job but it turned out to be so much more than that. I never thought I’d be staying in one company for such a long time but 60k is just not like any other company.

How would you describe the company career growth opportunities?

I would say they are countless if a person is seeking this kind of development. It happened to me and it happens to hundreds of others in the company. You don’t have to jump through hoops to be recognized – you just have to do your job with dedication and professionalism. The career development just comes natural.

What aspect of working for 60K do you enjoy the most?

The long lasting friendships that were born here. I can always list a professional benefit but really what I most enjoy about working for 60k is the environment that makes you feel that you are part of a very big family. It is so precious to have someone who always has your back, who would listen to you and help you when you need it – it’s been a blast, the past 6 years. And I have a few friends who even found their husbands and wives here! We really are one big, international family.

What was the last advice that you gave to someone from your team?

I don’t give advice unless I’m asked to, I only reassure my team knows I’m there to discuss anything work or personal related. I prefer self – awareness when it comes to my team. I’m there for them to give directions and to answer all their questions but I want them to take the initiative and to try and solve issues in their own way, according to their abilities and experience. I give guidance but I would never say “this is the best way to do it”.

Lilyana Dancheva - Operations Manager

How did your career in 60K begin?

My journey in 60K started in December 2008. I was a part of WorldOne project as a regular German Customer Support Representative.

When did you get your first promotion?

At the beginning of 2010 I participated in the pilot group for a new project. We managed to establish and develop the process successfully. We proved the concept and were granted with more tasks and responsibilities. The team grew and after 6 months I got my first promotion – as a Team Leader.

How would you describe the company career growth opportunities?

I have been involved in several company projects and I believe that when a person is motivated and persistent, responsible and hard –working, the efforts are being recognized and appreciated.

What aspect of working for 60K do you enjoy the most?

I would admit that my favourite thing about the company are the people. I have met a lot of friends here, positive atmosphere, support and professionalism.

What was the last advice that you gave to someone from your team?

I do not remember specifically the last advice that I have given to someone, but probably these would be the words that I would like to share – be patient, give yourself time to learn and understand, so you could build a solid base today and be a source of knowledge tomorrow. Be confident based on knowledge and experience, but do not underestimate any assignment, this is what drives constant improvement in my opinion.

Milko Ivanov - Operations Manager

How did your career in 60K begin?

My career began in 2011 as part of the Vivacom project. Back then 60k consisted of around 400 employees and I came in as a customer service agent. It was a challenging project because back at the time, Vivacom was the newest mobile service provider in Bulgaria and people were extremely enthusiastic about what it had to offer. And we were all part of that beginning, the agents especially.

When did you get your first promotion?

My first promotion came around 2 years after working as a customer support representative on different teams. During those 2 years I was gradually being assigned to additional tasks and responsibilities and developed new skills that were required for the next step. We were a much smaller team back then and you would do a little bit of everything which at times was confusing but in the long run really paid off.

How would you describe the company career growth opportunities?

This is one of the things I like most in our company – it develops people and promotes internal growth. And there are so many possibilities thanks to the company’s constant expansion.

What aspect of working for 60K do you enjoy the most?

It’s one aspect from 2 points of view. Improving both professionally and personally by learning something new from all the people I’m working with and passing on what I have learned to others. I think people tend to underestimate how valuable communicating with different people is!

What was the last advice that you gave to someone from your team?

Don’t just set goals – be prepared for when you achieve them.
